Our Mission: Since 2010, Beads 4 Beats, Inc. has dedicated itself to supporting children and families facing terminal, chronic, or developmental illnesses. We began our journey selling handmade bracelets (beads) to raise funds that directly support the lives and heartbeats (beats) of resilient children. Today, through strategic partnerships with UCP Pine Hills and the AdventHealth Foundation, we continue to deliver critical resources, hope, and care to families when they need it most.
The Opportunity: We are entering a dynamic phase of growth and are seeking passionate, visionary leaders to join our Board of Directors. As a governing board member, you will directly support the vision of Beads 4 Beats by providing strategic feedback, specialized expertise, and professional skills to help expand our reach and impact.
We are specifically seeking individuals with a deep passion for children’s health, alongside professional backgrounds in any of the following fields:
Finance & Accounting
Legal Operations
Fundraising & Development
Healthcare Administration
Social Services
Marketing
Board Requirements & Commitments: To ensure the governance and success of our initiatives, all voting board members must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility: Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully pass a standard background check.
Term: A minimum commitment of two (2) years.
Meetings: Attend bi-monthly board meetings, held on the second Thursday of the month in the evening. (Subject to change)
Event Participation: Active attendance and support at our two primary annual fundraisers (our signature 5K and our annual breakfast).
Financial Contribution: An annual personal financial contribution of $600.
Languages: Bilingual skills are a highly valued asset, though not required.
